You know, I do like Christmas. I like the carols and the cookies and the lights. I like my family traditions and although it is a lot of work to put up and decorate, I like my Christmas tree.
But I don't really like leaving my house for Christmas. There are just more people everywhere. Even grocery shopping sucks. And I never really liked grocery shopping to begin with.
I did leave my house yesterday to go to World Market in Ann Arbor to do some Christmas shopping. I'll be honest with you. I spent $65 and I only bought one gift. But I needed a new backscratcher. And I wanted one of those cool wine bottle openers like Murph's. And one can never have too many bottles of wine. And who doesn't want to try Butter Fudge (it wasn't that great though).
Well, I guess, Merry Christmas to me.

Don't you know not to shop for yourself in the month before Christmas? I was totally getting you that bottle opener. HAHA. Jon does that to me all the time. Oh well, I will have to think of something else...
Sounds like you had fun, but I know what you mean about the mass amounts of people. It's cuh-razy!
I was just like, "I have to have it, I have to bite the bullet."
And I totally know what I am getting you. You are never going to be able to guess in the ball park and I think you might literally, shit your pants.
Oh my God. I cannot wait until the end of January to shit my pants, hahaha. I am super excited, seriously.
I am in a pickle on what to get you now. Any general ballpark hints? I know, I never have to ask, so throw me a bone this time, haha!
;o)
I can't believe I just wrote "I am in a pickle..."
get her a pickle ornament.
Yeah, a pickle santa. Ha.
I just hope that if you are in a pickle that you have no cuts, because the juice is gonna burn.
I don't know what to get me. I don't know what I want. A good cheese grater? I mean, I want that, but I mean, that seems like a "cheesy" gift to give. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH
