Winter Wonderland?

It is a glisteny, crispy day in Toledo.

The snow didn't seem so bad last night, but around midnight, the freezing rain freed itself, quite loudly. And then I went to bed. When I woke up, snow was falling. Snow, had fallen...around 3 inches. And then it fell until about 2 this afternoon. I bet there is the minimum 8" they predicted. Much better than the 10" to 12" maxiumum that was the heavy prediction.

Thank God Ashley changed her flight from today to yesterday. Thank God the new Subaru has all wheel drive. But I'll be honest, I am a yellow belly in the snow, all wheel drive or not, I wasn't going out today.

It made it kind of a stir crazy day though. I eventually busted out a bottle of wine. Well, I had to celebrate a new car, didn't I? If it wasnt' so cold, I would've busted the bottle against the car, like a christening or whatever.

Thankfully in my stir crazy snow day I've had some good movies. I've watched The Darwin Awards (not bad), The Nanny Diaries (better than I thought) Live Free or Die Hard (I hate Bruce Willis, but if you've seen the first three, you almost have the see the fourth and it's not bad, not bad at all) and the finale will be The Bourne Ultimatum.

Ahh, a snow, day, coming to an end.

Yeah, I made it. The roads are still pretty bad, but definitely better than yesterday.

Have you named your car? I like the idea of christening it with a bottle of wine, haha. ;o)

I've never really been a car-namer. I don't know what it would be.
