Three Christmas Factoids:
1. When I was 13, I had a really bad stomach flu on Christmas. Nobody could come over for fear of getting sick. I felt like I had cancelled Christmas.
2. I was always nervous to sit on Santa's lap. And after seeing "Bad Santa," I think I had a reason to be.
3. We never made Christmas cookies. We made apple bread, but not cookies.

apple bread? never heard of it. banana? yes. zuchinni, yes. Apple? no.
From what I remember, it is good.
You should make it for us sometime. It sounds good. I love banana and zuchinni bread, why not apple?
And how sad to be 13 and feel like you canceled Christmas. Boo!
