Five more factoids...
1. Growing up, we always put our Christmas tree up the Friday after Thanksgiving. It was the first time we listened to Christmas music and we always drank egg nog.
2. I hate egg nog.
3. My favorite Christmas carols are "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "I'll be Home for Christmas," two of the most depressing carols ever.
4. My mom put all of our homeade ornaments on our tree for years and years. And then she threw them away.
5. A couple of years ago, my brother made tsiziki sauce for Christmas Eve and we dipped everything (like pizza rolls and mozzerella sticks) in it. Everything is good in tsiziki, except shrimp.
