So, I am still at work right now. At 6:21 pm on a Wednesday. I am here because we are having an open house and for the first hour of it, it has been kind of a bust. I didn’t really have an opinion on an open house; having one wouldn’t be a bad idea, but I wasn’t going to jump for joy at it either. So here I sit with the vice-president of operations and the retail guy and we aren’t really talking to each other.
I’m not really worried about it; I am 99.8% sure my job isn’t riding on the success of this event, but I don’t want to have to deal with aftermath of it. I don’t want to have to discuss what we could’ve done differently and blah, blah, blah.
I mean maybe in 45 minutes there will be a stampede of people wanting to come in.
But in the meantime, I am going to go help myself to some more havarti cheese. It’s good.

Oh man, that blows...but at least there was cheese! ;o)
I hope there was a stampede of people so your job security rises from 99.8% to 99.9%, hahaha.
