I watched Sicko, the latest Michael Moore documentary, over the weekend. I was hesitant to watch it because I hate the health care system. I think it actually strips people of their basic human right to get well. I think it is a scam. I think they are criminals. And Sicko pretty much agrees with me, except it displays those feelings in a much more entertaining way.
You know, so many people don't like Michael Moore and some people love him. I don't really have a strong opinion either way, but you have to admit, he knows how to make a great documentary that are always sad and always very funny. And no one is better at finding quotes and sound bites that people wish never existed (my favorite example is when a woman tells George W. Bush that she has to work three jobs to get by, he replies with,"Well, that's uniquely American, good for you.").
Anyhoo, it was a pretty good watch. Way better than Ratatouille, whichI also watched this weekend. My god that movie was sooooo boring.
And I had an awesome, awesome sushi dinner. Thinking about it now is actually making my mouth water now.
Have a good Monday everyone.
