Road Rage in the Morning

I am an aggressive driver and I fully admit to having issues with road rage (although I have been working on this and I have gotten better, not perfect, mind you, but better), but I never really drive aggressively in the morning. I guess when I am going to work, it is just to early to care; I'm still 1/4 asleep anyway, and if I am running a little late (which as an extremely punctual person, rarely happens anyway) then I run a little late.

This morning I shared the road with a car that was full of piss andvinegar at 6:50 am. I turned down a road that has a short segmentbefore the next light, so short that you can't really accelerate too much, because you have to immediately put the brakes on for the red light, that you clearly see as soon as you turn on the road. This car behind me, the one full of piss and vinegar, a red Pontiac, he passed me on this short segment of a road, he was in a hurry I guess. But passing me did not help him at all.

He was stopped by the red light. And then we all ended up behind a very slow driver. And then another red light.

You see, this is why I have been working on aggressive driving and road rage. I saw other people acting like me and they look stupid.Which means I look stupid when I let my issues with the road get the better of me.

And who wants to look stupid?

I've come to pretty much the same conclusion after tailgating my neighbor all the way through the neighborhood without realizing it (the 16-year-old daughter is apparently a student driver and they were in their new van, which I did not recognize).

Looking stupid is NO FUN!

Oh and let's not forget my encounter with the double-flicker-offer. Hilarious! Road rage sucks!
