Thanksgiving Edition Tidbits

I don't know if any of you remember that I got a turkey last year at Thanksgiving from my company or wondered what happened to its fate. Well, its fate is to be this year's Thanksgiving turkey. It totally freed up a ton of space in my freezer, except that now it looks so empty.

This year, instead of a turkey, I got a gift card to Kroger. I think it is awesome that they give us something for Thanksgiving. I guess they are just showing how thankful they are. And I think it is awesome that it is a gift card to Kroger. I am going to buy booze and junk food…happy Thanksgiving to me.

I got out of work early and had lunch with my parents. Last year at this time it was snowy and gross and miserable. Today it is sunny and supposed to hit 50 degrees. Tomorrow it is supposed to be the same. I love unseasonably nice weather.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to tell everyone to have a happy Thanksgiving.

50 degrees. Ha. It's gonna be like 70+ here. Woo Hoo for the South. Home of warm Novembers and mac and cheese that'll put you in ICU. I know you all miss my cooking. And, I miss you all. SO MUCH. I'd give up this weather to spend some time with you over margaritas and enchiladas any time. Peace and food, chicks, peace and food
