Save the Cheerleader, Save Thanksgiving

So Peter Petrelli saved the cheerleader, but did he save the world? Don't get me wrong, I like Heroes a lot. But every week they say it's the big episode not to miss and every week, it's not as big as I had hoped. I think it would be a big episode if they killed off the slutty mom with multiple personalites, because I don't like her. I like her kid and her ex-husband, but not her. And I wish Peter Petrelli (whom I have finally stopped thinking as Jess from Gilmore Girls) would quit being such a pansy. And I want Hiro to come back to present day...is that so wrong?

Ok, on to real life...

I am really excited for Thanksgiving this year. Much more so than recent years and I am not sure why. I am making a Pumpkin Butter Cake. I'll let you all know how it turns out. Maybe I am excited because I get to go to the gym on Thanksgiving. I know it is a holiday, but I would think lots of people would want to work out if they were in town that day.

I saw the movie, Marie Antoinette this weekend and it was awful. But it made me want to get out my pictures from France. Sometimes I can't believe I ever was in France. But it's been 10 years. I saw the room that Marie Antoinette gave birth in. I saw the blade from the guillotine that beheaded her. I saw many cathedrals and the Mona Lisa. I hadn't looked at these pictures in years, so it was fun to get them out.

The only other thing I have to tell you is that I am putting up my new, old Christmas tree this weekend. I will post a picture, for it is sure to be beautiful.

I'd rather see a pic of the cake.

I was totally going to zoom in on my sweet, new cowboy Santa.

I'll post a pic of both.

I really have no desire to get into watching that show. I don't like the glasses that Asian guy wears.

Well, I guess that's as good as reason as any to not watch a show.
