My Poor Computer

Witnesssuzy is not all that happy today. It appears I need a new hard drive for my home computer. I guess it could be worse, right? But I really like having a computer. I like being online. Well, maybe by going through this I will be able to curb some of this online addiction.

Anyhoo, it is scary when something happens to your computer and you’re not really sure why. I kept thinking, I can’t afford a new computer right now. And then my thoughts turned towards everything on my computer I would lose. I mean, most of my important files have been backed up. But I might lose a few pictures. I know I will lose a couple of songs from iTunes. I will lose the Yahtzee game I downloaded about a year ago. But, I was given a number to call that would supposedly help me recover some files. But I don’t understand computers. How can my files be recovered when I can even get the computer past the screen that says “no hard drive, strike F1 to reboot.”

Oh well, hopefully by this time next week, everything will be as it should be.

And no Lost tonight. I guess we will have to wait to see what Michael has to say. Actually I kind of liked the show without Michael. And did anyone else notice that he was all freaked out and scared, but in the previews he’s all tough. “We can take them. I will lead you to them.” Whatev Michael.

Why is your hard drive already worn out? Your computer isn't old enough. Hmmm... do you want to talk to Kaleb? WHat did Dell tell you?

My brother said that with laptops because they can travel and whatnot that the hard drives can go. There is one more thing I have to try to see if it can be fixed. But yeah, it is the hard drive. It says that there is no hard drive.

Dear Laura,

Thanks for the longest comment ever. Just when I thought it was going to end, there was more.

Always,
