And the award goes to...

I love award shows...I don’t know what it is....I think at times they are boring and I get really mad when people I don’t want to win win. But I watch them. So I was very excited when I found out the Oscar nominations came out today. Lots of awesome people got nominated....Reese and Joaquin for Walk the Line, Capote, and well...a lot. The only guy I was mad that got nominated (besides George Clooney, but that goes without saying) is that guy from Crash and Hustle and Flow. He seems really obnoxious. Anyhoo, after a while, I tuned my internet into cnn.com and just kept hitting refresh until they came out.

I am not the only person who does this. The refresh button is magical. Just a click or a few thousand, and you learn all sorts of new stuff. It’s made immediacy more immediate than ever.

Speaking of immediacy, I don’t think Bob Woodruff, the ABC anchor is doing very well. The cameraman, he can talk, Woodruff can apparently only move his eyes and maybe his hands ( I may be wrong on that last part). I kind of knew he was in bad shape because they wouldn’t really go into detail about him.

He’s a braver person than me, going into a war zone to report for our country. I wouldn’t even cross a busy street to report the news.
