I have been studying blogs in my multimedia class. It's really fascinating, but it has me thinking about this blog and I decided to do it so willy-nilly. I didn't think of purpose and goals and audience. Ok, I did think about audience; I thought of all of you, my faithful readers. I mean, mine is mostly a public journal, a good way to keep in touch with friends. But I try to inform you of weird or interesting things I find. So what's the goal of my blog? I guess to keep a discussion going with all of you from a far. And if anyone else wants to add to the conversation, then so be it.
Graduate school makes me think constantly. It is a blessing and a curse.
Last night I went to an "Ever Clear and Game Night." And that means I drank Ever Clear Punch and played games. And drank beer. And smoked way too many cigarettes. And stayed out until 4 am. Sometimes I feel like I moved back to Las Cruces and stepped right back into my old life. Except now I am 30 and my liver doesn't bounce back like it used to.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I liked being a thinker. It kept me from having to explain that most people bored me...so I wasn't paying attention. heh.
And, I haven't been to an ever clear party in, um, 15+ years? We called in "green tea" when I was an undergrad and mixed it with lime sherbet. YUM. This always led to sing-a-longs. I'm a much better Peter, Paul, and Mary when I'm tanked.
This makes me think of trash-can punch. We'd buy a new trash can, fill it with fruit and any kind of liquor we had left over and drink and eat...and play quarters.
thanks for the good memories!
Ooooo...and the purpose of this blog, most of the time, is to make me and K laugh...heh.
Ah, Ever Clear. I've had some good times with that as well. It will kill you, fo sho. Especially when you get it mixed up with the vodka, which you thought was stored in the Sprite 2 liter, but which was really in the Mountain Dew 2 liter. Argh.
My only experience with Ever Clear, prior to Friday, was Jungle Juice the frats made at tailgating. But I have always been, as you know, a beer person.
I am glad that my blog has a purpose. And I am glad that it succeeds.
