1. At a Holiday Melt Down meeting at my gym.The faciliator is talking about how cooking vegetables in the microwave isn't very healthy, that people should try to steam their vegetables.
Question #1: What about the bags of vegetables that are made to be steamed in the microwave?Faciliator: I think it's better to not cook them in the microwave.
Question #2: What about putting water in a dish with the vegetables in the microwave?Facilitator: I still don't think it's as healthy.
Question #3 (and I sweat I am not making this one up)" What if I cook them in a dish in the microwave?
Facilitator (with a subtle sigh of frustration): I don't know.
2. Last night it snowed and this is what one reporter had to say about it on the news this morning:
It snowed, it is covering the ground, which means, it is covering your car if you parked outside. You will need to clean off your car. Don't forget to do that before you drive this morning.

I had a guy who sells fridges, etc at LOwes that microwaving anything gives it the nutritional value of...cardboard.
And, about the other: I laughed. REALLY? There might be snow on my car? And I should REMOVE it to drive? Assumption: Newspeople are rocket scientists.
I would say that news people are dumb because they can rely on their looks, but my news people aren't even particularly good people.
heh.
Oh that was AWESOME. I am laughing as I type! ;o)
