Weekend

It is always so hard to go back to work after a three day weekend. Especially when there is sort of a dry spell of important work at work.

I took Friday off because it was my birthday and I didn't really say anything to anyone I worked with. I knew a couple of people would know because they see me on MySpace. When I got back this morning, my boss asked if I had a good weekend. And I said yes. And then he asked if it was relaxing, and then I kind of laughed because I understood where this line of questioning was going and told him that it had been my birthday and that since it was on a Friday that I would take it off and told him about my pedicure. But word of my birthday had definitely got around on Friday; when I returned a message to our advertising agency, the guy wished me a belated happy birthday. What's funny is that if I hadn't taken the day off, nobody would've known and never said anything.

I went to the Henry Ford Museum this weekend and had a good time. I haven't been since I was very young. There were a lot of changes. Obviously there wasn't an IMAX theater 20 years ago. But I remember Thomas Edison's signature in concrete and what I remembered as an old McDonalds, but is really just a diner near the old McDonalds sign. I saw the Oscar Mayer Weiner Mobile and bought my nephews Weiner Mobile Cars. Now I am excited to go to Greenfield Village when the weather is warm again. Because it certainly isn't very warm today.

Thanks for calling me on Saturday. We were at this place called Pub St. George. It was cool. And I got kind of drunk. I know me, getting drunk...it is very unusal.

How was your weekend with Inez?
