I work with a woman who gets to work every day between 5 and 5:30 am. Once, I got an email from her at 4:58 am. And then she works until 4 pm like everyone else. While I have been known to occasionally come in early or work a little late or even through lunch, coming in two hours early seems nuts to me.
I wonder if she has that much work to do. And if she does, maybe she should ask for an assistant or something. Because if she needs to spend 10 hours doing her purchasing work just to get it all done, that is a lot of purchasing, maybe too much purchasing.
Or maybe she hates home and comes in to have a few moments to herself; sit back and drink her coffee is peace. Maybe she's an insomniac and comes in because she's awake. I kind of hope she's an insomniac because if she's not, she must have to go to bed at like 8 pm. The sun's still shining then.
I actually wondered on my drive in to work the day after the big storm a few weeks ago if she would make it in at 5 or if she would get in at 7 or God forbid, late. But she was there. I bet she would've driven through lakes to get here at 5. She's hardcore like that.

Nah...I think it is more fun to speculate. I bet it way more entertaining than the truth.
