The Yin and Yang of Media Pleasures

I recently discovered Hulu and it is super awesome. I've been spending my remaining days at work watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien and the second season of 30 Rock. And I don't even care if people see me watching it. Anyhoo, there are a lot of cool shows and movies at Hulu and they add more all the time, so if you ever have a few spare moments, check it out.

On the flip side, I had the mini-series, John Adams on my Netflix list and the first disc was only available in Las Vegas, so they had to ship it from there. Disc 2 and 3 were available at my location, so I have them at home, but have to wait until Friday for disc 1. What is the logic in that?

In other news, I have given two-weeks notice at both my jobs. Owens thinks I am going to New Mexico for an actual teaching job and I haven't corrected them. I think I am just going to let them believe that. I don't really care. A week from today, I will never see them again.

Tata for now.

How did your OTHER job take it??

Haha, I got a job at Owens earlier this summer at the Writing Lab. Ironically enough, the English department called me earlier this week for a job interview.

My other job is taking it really well. And being SUPER nice. I mean, I think they are annoyed that I am leaving, but I think they see the huge hole I am leaving in the company.

Cerie is so funny on 30 Rock (as is everyone, actually). I just watched the one where she asked Liz to be a bridesmaid and she goes, "Yay, now I've got my something old."
