I love it when the weather is nice.
I spent much of Saturday outside reading. I broke out my lounge chair in a bag so I could get really comfortable. It was awesome. My goal this summer is to just spend more time outside, so hopefully I am off to a good start.
Before I could read outside however, I needed to get some books, so I went to the library downtown and had to parallel park, which I did perfectly because Norman taught me how when she was here a couple of weeks ago. Almost 14 years of driving and my eyes have been opened. I am going to start driving around just looking for places to parallel park.
I got some new pants; some khakis that actually fit.
Yesterday I got sun burnt sitting outside talking with my family. It's up towards the top of my arms and there is a perfect line from where my shirt sleeve was. And there is a stripe of burn on my leg. My face looks nicely colored. That's because I use moisturizer with SPF in it.
Another Monday.

My shoulders hurt so bad today, I couldn't bear to put a sports bra on. Ouch! And all of my students were like "wow, you're burnt." Each time a new student would walk into the classroom, it was the whole thing all over again. It got pretty funny, actually! ;o)
I am also looking forward to spending more time outside. Can't wait until you visit so we can sit at my picnic table and soak up the sun!
Yay for parallel parking. That's funny that norman showed you how...I didn't know that! I am a pretty good parallel parker...but I definitely don't search them out, haha!
Well, it sounds like you definitely win the "who got burnt worse" game. I am not sure anybody noticed mine.
Stay cool!
Yeah, I've got my Banana Boat right by the front door so I don't forget to put it on.
