I got a new license today. I know, I know…truly exciting. To be honest, I was worried that it would be a terrible picture. But it's not bad. It looks like me. One side of my hair is messy.
I've been having problems with sleeping and noises. Saturday night (or actually Sunday morning around 4) I woke up with a start after dreaming of sweeping up dead, baby mice. It was weird, like I totally sat up in bed startled, just like a movie. And then, when I realized I was ok and laid back down, I heard a baby crying outside…either that or a cat meowing, because the more I listened, the more I had no idea what it was. So I got up and went to open my sliding glass door to see if I could figure it out. I couldn't figure it out because whatever it was had stopped.
But as I was walking back to my bedroom, I thought, "what if it had been a cat…what if it had gotten in my house? What if a rabid, disgusting, crazy cat is in my apartment?" Well, I'm not totally irrational; I told myself I was being silly and went back to bed. But for a while after I went to bed, it felt as though something was touching me.
Then the past couple of nights, I have heard noises like someone trying to enter my apartment. I would turn off my fan and it would go away. I realized last night that the noise is the fan on a poster in my room.
I hope now that I know there is no cat in my home or anyone trying to come in, I will sleep with ease tonight.

I slept awesome. I slept so well I was actually tired for most of the morning.
I get to go get a new license soon too! I'm really excited because the picture I have on there now is ridiculous. New licenses at around the same time... our lives parallel one another. Kooky.
I think it is because our birthdays are coming up. And we're kooky.
